CRYOLIPOLYSIS
What is Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis, also known as CoolScultpting is a non-invasive procedure used to target and destroy fat cells with the effect of cooling. Getting exposed to the cooling effect, the subcutaneous fat cells undergo apoptosis which is a natural controlled cell death, caused by the release of inflammatory mediators. After, few month of the procedure the generated inflammatory mediators eliminate the affected fat cells by digestion, leading to fat cell reduction.
Generally, Cryolipolysis does not affect other tissues or nerves, and is not used as an obesity treatment.
How does it work?
Special cooling plates with vacuum section cup/headpiece are positioned on the desired body area, delivering accurate and controlled cooling conditions that trigger cell apoptsis.  Following continuous treatment, the fat cells enter an apoptotic death sequence which will progressively be eliminated by the immune system only in matter of weeks.
 Treatment Areas

  • Upper and lower Abdomen
  • Hips
  • Flanks/love Handles
  • Back Rolls
  • Arms
  • Knees
  • Thighs

Note: Areas for treatment will only be determined by the physician after consultancy.
Side Effects
Cryolipolysis has rare and infrequent side effects. However, in very particular cases side effects such as transit local redness, and sensory deficits might occur but will subside within a month.  On the other hand, bruising of the skin is a more common side effect that settles within matter of days.
Result
Over a time period of 8 to 12 weeks, Cryolipolysis reduces the targeted fat layer permanently between 20 to 40 percent.
Cost treatment areas
Costs depend on area of treatment, varying from 300 to 700 Euros.
Each treatment session takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes per area, and two areas can be treated simultaneously (in practice 2 sides).
Note: Before treatment, consultation with a physician is required.
